Doh!
Porter Goss: "I am not qualified."

You didn't actually post a link to MichaelMoore.com, did you? C'MON!

For starters, ask John and Nora what they think of Porter Goss.

Second, how about a little context? Mr. Goss was once a field agent, during the Cold War. European languages were de rigeur for the agency at that time. In THAT context (having a background in Romance languages as opposed to Semitic or whatever is vital TODAY), not to mention not being as technologically savvy as you (or God forbid, even me; though probably equally savvy with about anyone of his generation), he isn't qualified to be a FIELD AGENT today.

Further, I saw that MM passed wind to the effect that "this guy is head of the Intelligence Committee, and he doesn't even find out who's interviewing him." Two thoughts come to mind on that: first, bravo to the man for being open and accessable; he is a credit to legislators everywhere. Second, what is so threatening about Michael Moore's staff that Moore himself thinks they should be vetted by public representives?

Michael Moore rocks - his documentary on the "moron from Texas (actually Connecticut) was brilliant! True to form Bushie hasn't thought out yet another strategic move - Goss is a clown and unqualified for the job, and he knows it (that's the beauty of the whole thing).

RSR

Pure genius! Well-thought out and documented, and articulate to boot.

And the name is great too!
